Nutcracker Auditions 2008!
Pioneer Valley Ballet Company will present
its 30th annual production of
The Nutcracker
on December 12, 13 and 14
at Northampton’s historic Academy of Music.
All auditions will be held at PVB’s studios
in the Eastworks building,
116 Pleasant Street, Easthampton.
GUIDELINES TO CONSIDER BEFORE AUDITIONING:
Putting on a production such as Nutcracker is a huge endeavor that involves the full participation of everyone involved:
● Attendance at ALL rehearsals is required – Please look at the rehearsal schedules carefully. Missed rehearsals compromise not only the individual’s ability to learn a part, but also the group performance.
ALL CAST MUST BE AT DRESS REHEARSAL UNLESS OTHERWISE EXCUSED.
AUDITION SCHEDULES:
Saturday, September 13th
Corps & Divertissements ages 12 - Adult
10:00am – 11:00am Registration
11:00am – 12:00pm Audition Class & Parent’s Forum
12:00 – 1:00 Pointe Audition
Results from the Sept. 13th audition will be posted in the PVB Studios by Tuesday, Sept. 16th.
We will not give out casting information over the phone.
Sunday, Sept 14th
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Boys & Girls ages 5 - 7
10:00am – 11:00am Registration
11:00am – 12:00pm Audition & Parent’s Forum
Boys ages 8 - 11
12:30pm- 1:00pm Registration
1:00pm – 1:30pm Audition & Parent’s Forum
Girls ages 8 - 11
2:00pm – 2:45pm Registration
2:45pm – 3:30pm Audition & Parent’s Forum
**ADULTS INTERESTED IN PARTICIPATING IN THE NUTCRACKER PLEASE CALL PVB BY SEPT. 14th**
Results from the Sept. 14th audition
will be given that day after each audition.
Performance dates and full rehearsal schedules will be mailed the week following the audition.
To register for auditions, please fill out Nutcracker Registration Form and drop off or mail to: PVB at Eastworks, 116 Pleasant Street, Easthampton, MA 01027. Return with non-refundable $20 audition fee & $20 costume fee; $15 for each additional sibling.
