Cinderella

March 31 & April 1, 2012

Pioneer Valley Ballet is proud to present Cinderella based on Charles Perrault's classic fairytale of Cinderella and the Prince, the birth and flowering of love, the obstacles in its path and finally the dream fulfilled - on March 31 and April 1, 2012 at Northampton’s historic Academy of Music Theatre. Choreographed by PVB Artistic Directors Thomas Vacanti and Maryanne Kodzis, this comic ballet is known for its jubilant music (Sergei Prokofiev's most popular and melodious score), lush scenery, beautiful dancing and the hilariously wicked stepsisters, more mad than bad in this production. Come experience a beggar turning into a Fairy Godmother, a pumpkin and mice that turn into a coach and coachmen, and a glass slipper that makes dreams come true. You will leave the theater laughing, awe-inspired, and believing in "happily ever after"

Show Dates/Times:

  • Saturday, March 31, 2012 (two shows): 1:00 PM & 4:30 PM
