The Nutcracker is a ballet for all those who love the magic of theatre. First performed in St. Petersburg, Russia in 1892, it is now performed around the world by countless ballet companies. Pioneer Valley Ballet is proud to present its 32nd annual production of this enchanting, classic ballet at the landmark Academy of Music Theatre under the artistic direction of Maryanne Delisle Kodzis and Thomas Vacanti.

Where/How Tickets Can be Purchased

Beginning in November, tickets can be purchased by calling Pioneer Valley Ballet at 413.527.6363. The studio box office is open on Saturdays from 10:30am-2:30pm, and Wednesdays 4:30pm-6:30pm. Tickets are also available online by visiting http://www.pioneervalleyballet.org.

Tickets will also be sold at the Academy of Music Theatre box office. Academy of Music Box Office is open Tuesday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM Tel: 413-584-9032 x105 (Service fees may apply with purchase)

All shows have discounted student RUSH seats available 1/2 hour prior each performance at the box office window. RUSH seats are restricted to upper balcony only.

Volunteers

Welcome to the Nutcracker 2011 volunteer sign-ups! As you know, we ask that at least one parent/guardian per child in the production signs up to volunteer during a rehearsal or performance. With over 250 cast members, The Nutcracker could not happen without volunteers.
