DESCRIPTION:Pioneer Valley Ballet’s company\, FLUX ChoreoLab\, performs new works from choreographers Maryanne Kodzis\, Barbie Diewald and Stephanie Kellogg among the sculpture installations. \nFollow the dancers across the orchard to view each dance piece in a new setting\, embracing the company’s mission: By taking dance out of the traditional theatrical venue\, FLUX ChoreoLab places the audience directly in relationship to the performance space\, and asks them to re-imagine their place within it. \nThe rain date will be September 16.

SUMMARY:2017 Nutcracker Community Auditions
DESCRIPTION:Each year\, we welcome dancers from all over Western Massachusetts to take part in one of our seasonal ballets! \nNutcracker auditions for Community members take place Saturday September 9\, 2017. \nDancers aged 5-7 audition 10:30-12:30 \nDancers aged 8-10 audition 1:00-3:00 \nThe performance fee is $49 and rehearsals begin in October on Friday or Saturdays depending upon the role. \nFOR AUDITIONS:\nPlease wear comfortable clothing and hair off of the face.\nIt is not necessary to wear leotard and tights. \nPlease contact the studio for details.
