Nutcracker Pre-Registration - Pioneer Valley Ballet

Perform with Us in The Nutcracker 2026!

Does your child love to dance or perform? Have a vivid imagination? We have roles available for children age 4-11 in this year’s production of The Nutcracker running December 11th-13th, 2026. Please PRE-REGISTER your child in advance, as this will make the check-in process run much more smoothly on casting day.

Once pre-registered, you must finalize your child’s registration and pay the performance fee & $15 registration fee at their scheduled casting time: Friday, September 11th: ages 6-7 from 4:30pm to 5:15pm; ages 8-9 from 5:30pm to 6:15pm, and ages 10-11 from 6:30pm to 7:15pm. *Note that 4-5 year olds are not required to attend Casting Day but must finalize their registration at the first studio rehearsal. You will be notified of their role via email.

On casting day, your child will be taught a a few dance steps to perform with their group and measured for a costume. All children who complete the registration process will be assigned a role! Performance fees range from $160-$185 for ages 6-11 and cover all rehearsals, theater time, costume rentals, makeup kits, and hair kits. Fees for ages 4-5 range from $80-$110. Waivers & Agreements

To the best of my knowledge, the above named dancer is in excellent health and can fully participate in Pioneer Valley Ballet (PVB) rehearsals and performances. If necessary, I have included information on his/her medical history indicating a prior injury or condition that may affect his/her participation in rehearsals and performances. I agree that I will not hold PVB, its Faculty, its Board of Directors, its Staff, or its Volunteers liable for any injury he/she/they may incur in rehearsal, in performances, in the PVB studios or buildings, or in the Academy of Music. I understand my child must attend all studio and theater rehearsals. Multiple absences may result in removal from the show at the Artistic Director’s discretion. I hereby give permission to PVB to use any photos/videos taken of my child during casting day, auditions, rehearsals, and/or performances for the purpose of display, portfolio, advertising, website, marketing, or publication to promote PVB without compensation to myself or my heirs.
