Current Season at PVB
2022 - 2023
The spirit of each Pioneer Valley Ballet season is to maintain our rich tradition, while expanding our repertoire and reaching into our community.
Our Amazing Sponsors
help make it all possible!
We always begin our season in earnest with our winter show, The Nutcracker. This treasured community event includes hundreds of dancers from towns throughout Western Massachusetts, performing parts that range from enchanting snowflakes to the tiniest reindeer. Here’s how you can get involved.
In the Spring, we present an original, full-length ballet, choreographed by artist directors Maryanne Kodzis and Thomas Vacanti. Previous performances have included Cinderella, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and His Magic Lamp, Beauty and the Beast, and Sleeping Beauty. In 2023, we are presenting The Little Mermaid April 1-2 at the Academy of Music in Northampton.
The season typically wraps up with “A Celebration of Dance,” showcasing the progress our students have made over the year.
We hope you’ll join us this season, as our dancers unfold the magic of these incredible performances.
